Best bodega in Manhattan. Get the chopped cheese and the cheese steak sandwich. Both are amazing and prepped to perfection.

Blue Moon Deli had a name change! It's now Convenience Deli and Grocery and I'm surprised no one took the time to report it. I'm a fan because they are very neighborhood oriented and know their customers. When I was there recently I felt sorry for the deli employee that makes the food. He was bored. I'm hoping the morning rush was over. The man at check out is really friendly. He gave me the current menu so you can see the name and location is 1773 and the phone number. This place has been serving the neighborhood for many years. There's at least one or two deli places each block on the Upper East Side. Competition is tough. I'm recommending this deli for fast friendly service.
The chicken cutlet sandwich is bombbbb. Chicken is not dry and there is a lot of flavor. There have been a few times when the bread or chicken were over cooked, but usually it's really good. Definitely recommend!
Still in the middle of eating and YUM. Couldn't sleep last night because I was fantasizing about a breakfast sandwich (happens to everyone, I assume) and filled the craving this morning at Blue Moon. I came here based on these Yelp reviews, and I'm verrrry happy. My turkey bacon, egg, and avocado on a roll is delicious - hot, filling, and only $4.16. What could be better? Definitely come to Blue Moon to fulfill your dreams, if they're at all similar to mine.
I ordered from delivery from here and everything was very good and so reasonably priced. We got the Philly cheesesteak, chopped cheese sandwich and grilled cheese. We really enjoyed the phili cheesesteak. It wasn't dry, cheese was melted and had a good amount of meat. The chopped cheese sandwich is basically a burger all chopped up with cheese. It was good, but would prefer the Philly cheesesteak. The grilled cheese was good and still hot when it was delivered and the price is so reasonable. I would order from here again.
I don't know if these guys look at their Yelp page but they really should. I walk out of my way two blocks passed my boyfriend's apartment and skip 3 other bodegas to come to Blue Moon Deli. These guys actually pump out awesome lunches! My favorite is their chicken cutlet sandwich and I ALWAYS order their Go Green "juice" as a "smoothie" instead so I get all that fiber. It's $5.99 for a small and I think that's an extremely fair price! Beyond good quality eats, they're such nice guys!!! They always smile and are attentive. Hmmm probably why they get so much business honestly! That's what happens when you put good quality with good service. Come to this deli!
Best breakfast sandwiches in UES! I live a block away from this deli and I frequently grab breakfast here. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast and accommodating especially if you are on the go. On one specific occasion, I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on a roll and did not have the time to eat it right away. When I did find the time (two hours later), I heated the sandwich up at work and it was still unexpectedly fresh.
